Enrollment Agreement

By submitting an application to ILI Maryland, students acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to abide by the terms and policies outlined in the Student Handbook and enrollment agreement.

Enrollment is contingent upon completion of all required forms, payment of applicable fees, and, for international students, valid visa status documentation.

Tuition & Fees

  • Application fee ($100 for IEP, $50 for Semi-Intensive, $0 for Evening/Saturday) is non-refundable and due upon application.
  • Tuition is billed per 4-week session and is due before the session start date.
  • Textbooks are available for purchase at the school bookstore and are not included in tuition.
  • Homestay fees are billed separately and are non-refundable once placement is confirmed.
  • Late payment may result in suspension from class until payment is received.

Refund Policy

  • Withdrawal before the first day of class: full tuition refund (application fee non-refundable).
  • Withdrawal within the first week of class: 75% tuition refund.
  • Withdrawal within the second week of class: 50% tuition refund.
  • Withdrawal after the second week: no tuition refund.
  • Refunds are processed within 30 days of withdrawal notification.
  • F-1 visa students who withdraw due to visa denial may receive a full refund (minus application fee) with documentation.

Attendance Requirements

Students are expected to maintain at least 80% attendance. Students falling below this threshold may be placed on attendance probation and may face program termination. For F-1 students, attendance is reported to SEVIS and affects visa status.

F-1 Visa Policies

  • F-1 students must maintain full-time enrollment (minimum 18 hours/week for IEP).
  • Students may not work off-campus without authorization from USCIS.
  • Program extensions require updated financial documentation and advance notice.
  • Transfer requests must be submitted in writing with the receiving school's acceptance.
  • Unauthorized withdrawal may result in SEVIS termination and loss of legal status.

Student Conduct

Students are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that respects the learning environment, staff, and fellow students. Serious or repeated violations may result in disciplinary action, including program dismissal without refund.

Privacy Policy

ILI Maryland collects and maintains student information for educational and administrative purposes in compliance with FERPA. Student records are kept confidential and are not shared with third parties except as required by law or with written student consent.
